This eight-day, seven-night tour includes round-trip airfare and first-class hotel accommodations steps from the Caribbean beach. The week features a full roster of diving, snorkeling and fishing outings and culinary indulgences highlighting the freshest local fare. Explore a choice of mainland excursions to the Mayan ruin of Lamanai, the ceremonial cave of Actun Tunichal Mucknal, or a float trip through a rain forest underground tunnel. If you’re inclined to cook, attend a cooking class to learn to make authentic, addictive Belizean stuffed fry jacks.
Typical Itinerary for the Lifetime Adventurer

Day 1: Travel to Belize, arriving at Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize City. Transfer to the luxury beachfront Banyan Bay Hotel, on Ambergris Caye, via a connecting flight to San Pedro Airport on Tropic Air. Check in that afternoon, followed by an early evening welcome reception.
Day 2: After breakfast, choose to either go scuba diving, snorkeling or reef fishing, with lunch break before an afternoon of fun in the sun and exploration. Following a light supper at the hotel, enjoy a night dive or snorkel at Hol Chan Marine Reserve to observe nocturnal life not usually seen during the day such as octupus, squid, lobsters, starfish and the entrancing bioluminescence. Conclude your day with a late-night bite to eat.
Day 3: After breakfast, opt for a morning of scuba diving, snorkeling or reef fishing, with lunch break before an afternoon of fun in the sun and exploration. Return to the hotel for dinner in San Pedro and an evening at leisure.
Day 4: Transfer to Caye Caulker, a small, lush island a quick boat ride off the Ambergris coast, for a day of fun and exploration with lunch on your own. Chill out at The Split, a narrow waterway that divides the island in two. At the end of Caye Caulker is The Lazy Lizard, a watering hole where the beer is cold and water’s warm. Unfurl a beach towel on the powder white sand and meet new people. Return to the hotel late afternoon for dinner in San Pedro and an evening at leisure.
Day 5: After breakfast, choose to dive or snorkel for the day. Transfer by boat to the Great Blue Hole, a UNESCO world heritage site near Lighthouse Reef noted for its spectacular stalactites. The second site is Half Moon Caye, known for its kaliedoscopic seascape. After lunch, the third site, the Aquarium, offers a variety of marine life living along its wall’s edge. Return to the hotel for dinner in San Pedro and an evening at leisure.
Day 6: Following breakfast, enjoy a day of fun and exploration. Go shopping in San Pedro or spend an afternoon of sun and sand at Secret Beach. Lunch, dinner and evening are at leisure.
Day 7: Following check out and an early breakfast, transfer by plane to the mainland and explore the Mayan ruin of Lamanai, once a major city of the Maya civilization, accessible only by river boat. Or descend into the Mayan ceremonial cave of Actun Tunichal Mucknal, an ancient sacrificial burial site. Or discover cave tubing in a float trip through the sparkling turquoise waters of one of Belize’s many rain forest underground river tunnels. Return to the Raddison Hotel in Belize City for both dinner and an evening at leisure.
Day 8: Check out and transfer to Philip Goldson International Airport for your return trip home.
